Fredericksburg Main Street Announces Downtown Movies in the Park Series
Fredericksburg, VA – Fredericksburg Main Street is thrilled to announce the Downtown Movies in the Park series at Riverfront Park! This exciting community event invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy a delightful evening under the stars with family-friendly movies, themed activities, and more.
Starting at 6:30 PM, attendees can engage in various activities before the movies commence at around 7:00 PM. The series promises to be a memorable experience for all ages, with a fantastic lineup of movies and special themed events to enhance the fun.
Summer Movie Lineup:
July 18th: Trolls: Band Together
August 15th: Monsters Inc.
September 19th: Jumanji (Original)
October 19th: Hocus Pocus (Original)
The event is proudly brought to you in partnership with the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to comfortably enjoy the movies. Additionally, information regarding vendors, parking, and more will be provided as the event dates approach. “The Economic Development Authority is dedicated to bringing wonderful events to our community. This great partnership with Fredericksburg Main Street is an excellent way to get people downtown to explore our award-winning businesses and then, spend a wonderful night under the stars with their families.” Said Beth Black, Chair of the Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority.
In the event of inclement weather, rain dates will be announced on the morning of each scheduled movie night.
“We are ecstatic to bring the Downtown Movies in the Park series to our vibrant community,” said Christopher Allen, Executive Director of Fredericksburg Main Street. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to come downtown, explore our amazing shops and boutiques, grab bite to eat together, then head to Riverfront Park to enjoy great movies, and create lasting memories in our beautiful Riverfront Park.”
